Ingredients

  • 400 g of tofu
  • 2 onions
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200 g of red bell peppers
  • 100 ml of karahi oil
  • 50 ml of soy sauce
  • 50 ml of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 100 g of fried onions
  • 100 g of fresh herbs (mint and cilantro)

Method

  1. Cut the tofu into cubes and coat with flour.
  2. Fry the tofu cubes in a pan with karahi oil until golden.
  3. In a pot, sauté the onions, garlic, and red bell peppers.
  4. Add the soy sauce, lemon juice, chili powder, and ginger. Stir well.
  5. Add the fried tofu cubes and cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  6. Garnish the dish with fresh herbs and fried onions.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
