Karahi Fish and Tofu

A delicious fish and tofu dish in a flavorful karahi sauce, typical of the Lahore cuisine.

Ingredients
- 4 fish fillets (salmon or tuna, for example)
- 200 grams of tofu
- 2 onions
- 1 chili pepper
- 2 tablespoons of dried red chili
- 1 teaspoon of ginger
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 2 tablespoons of sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon of honey vinegar
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- salt to taste
Method
- In a non-stick pan, sauté the sesame oil with chopped onions and chili pepper.
- Add the dried red chilies and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the fish fillets and tofu cut into pieces, season with salt and chili powder.
- Add the soy sauce, honey vinegar, and ginger, mix well.
- Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes or until the fish is fully cooked.
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of fresh chili powder for an extra kick.
