Irish Pea and Ham Soup
A hearty and nutritious soup made with fresh peas and cooked ham, perfect for a cold day.

Ingredients
- 200 g of smoked ham
- 500 g of fresh peas
- 2 onions
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 liters of beef broth
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
Method
- Cut the ham into pieces and set it aside.
- In a pot, sauté the olive oil with the onions and garlic.
- Add the ham and cook for a few minutes.
- Add the peas and broth, bring to a boil and cook for 20-25 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, then add the chopped parsley.
- Let it warm up for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the soup hot, garnished with a bit of parsley.
