Imam Bayildi
Imam Bayildi, a traditional Turkish dish, is a delightful mixture of stuffed zucchini with a blend of vegetables and spices.

Ingredients
- 4 zucchinis
- 1 onion
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 red onion
- 1 white onion
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of saffron
- olive oil
- 150 g of Greek feta cheese
Method
- Cut the zucchinis in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
- Sauté the oil with finely chopped garlic and onions.
- Add the cubed tomatoes, red onion, and white onion.
- Stir well and cook for 10-15 minutes on medium heat.
- Add the sugar, saffron, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper, stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Fill the zucchinis with the preparation and drizzle with a bit of olive oil.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve hot with a slice of Greek feta cheese on top.
