Hungarian Crepes
Palacsinta are delicate and sweet crepes filled with apple or fruit compote and sugar, a true masterpiece of Hungarian cuisine.

Ingredients
- 300 g of flour
- 5 eggs
- 200 ml of milk
- 100 ml of oil
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- Granulated sugar for decoration
- Apple compote for filling
Method
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add the eggs and mix well.
- Stir in the milk and oil until you get a smooth consistency.
- Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes.
- On a non-stick pan, cook the crepes over medium heat, flipping them when they are golden brown.
- Stack the crepes with the apple compote and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
- Serve warm and enjoy their exquisite taste.
The story
Palacsinta were introduced to Hungary by the Ottoman Turks and evolved into a popular culinary tradition during the Hungarian Kingdom period.
