Ingredients

  • 4 cans of sardines, cut into pieces
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 100 g of canned tomatoes
  • 100 g of cannellini beans
  • 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley
  • 100 ml of fish broth

Method

  1. In a pan, heat the oil and sauté the onions until they become translucent.
  2. Add the bell pepper, zucchini, and cannellini beans, stirring well.
  3. Add the sardines and fish broth, bringing to a boil.
  4. Reduce the heat and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Finally, add the canned tomatoes and chopped parsley, stirring well.
  6. Serve immediately, enjoying your Hammamet-style sardine bourride.
