A traditional dish from North West Nigeria, Gbagiri is a crunchy and flavorful delicacy.

Ingredients
- 250g of corn flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of palm oil
- 1/2 cup of water
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of watermelon seeds
- 1/2 cup of sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup of dried beans
- 1 tablespoon of Guinea pepper
- 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon of salt
Method
- In a bowl, mix the corn flour, eggs, palm oil, water, salt, and sugar until you get a smooth mixture.
- Add the watermelon seeds, sesame seeds, dried beans, Guinea pepper, and cayenne pepper, and mix well.
- Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rest for at least 2 hours.
- Form small balls with your hands and fry in hot oil until they become crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and serve cold or warm.
