Ingredients

  • 1 clove
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 300 grams of almonds
  • 300 grams of walnuts
  • 200 grams of raisins
  • 100 grams of pine nuts
  • 100 grams of hazelnuts
  • 200 grams of flour
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 80 grams of butter
  • 4 eggs

Method

  1. Take a large bowl and mix together the clove, cinnamon stick, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, mix the almonds, walnuts, raisins, pine nuts, and hazelnuts.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, mix the flour, sugar, butter, and eggs until you get a smooth batter.
  4. Gradually add the contents of step 2 to the bowl from step 3, mixing well.
  5. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lined baking tray with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 150 degrees Celsius for 4-5 hours, checking periodically to ensure it doesn't dry out.
  7. Let it cool before slicing and serving.
