Ingredients

  • 200 g of fava beans
  • 1 onion
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 2 dates
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of wine vinegar
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Sauces of your choice

Method

  1. Rinse the fava beans and cook them in salted water for about 30 minutes or until tender.
  2. Remove the skin from the fava beans and mash them.
  3. Heat the olive oil and chili pepper in a pan and sauté the onion until golden.
  4. Add the fava beans and dates, stir and add the wine vinegar.
  5. Pour the mixture into a serving dish and serve with your preferred sauces.
  6. Make sure it is well mixed and seasoned to taste.
