Ingredients

  • 2 fish fillets (e.g., salmon or hake)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 piece of ginger
  • 1 chili pepper
  • 200 ml fish stock
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 200 ml water
  • 2 mint leaves
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, chopped garlic, chopped onion, chili pepper, and ginger.
  2. In a pot, combine the fish stock, white wine, and water. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add the fish fillets and cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes, until the fish is fully cooked.
  4. Add the mint and basil leaves, mix well, and let infuse for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the fish tea hot, with a sprinkle of salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serving suggestion: Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
