Fatteh is a traditional Riyadh dish, crunchy and rich with flavorful ingredients.

Ingredients
- 400 grams of wheat bread
- 200 grams of chickpeas
- 100 grams of chopped vegetables (tomato, onion, celery)
- 50 grams of almonds
- 50 grams of honey
- 100 grams of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 teaspoon of saffron
- 100 grams of feta cheese
- Water for the chickpeas
Method
- Boil the chickpeas with water and salt for 1 hour or until soft.
- Cut the bread into cubes and toast them in a pan with butter.
- Layer the toasted bread cubes on a plate.
- Blanch the vegetables and layer them over the bread cubes.
- Add the chickpeas and feta cheese over the vegetables.
- Pour the honey and butter over the top.
- Finally, pour the saffron water over the plate.
- Serve hot and enjoy the crunchy and intense flavor of Fattéh.

Fatteh has ancient archaeological roots, but has become popular in Riyadh over time, becoming a beloved family dish.
