Ingredients

  • 1 kg of dodo (coconut meat)
  • 500 ml of palm oil
  • 1 onion
  • 2 bell peppers
  • 100 g of aromatic herbs (coriander, laurel, thyme)
  • 1 liter of chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon of African pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 200 g of efo (coco flour)

Method

  1. Prepare the dodo by cutting it into pieces and boiling it with palm oil, chopped onion, bell peppers, and aromatic herbs for about 30 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, mix the efo with chicken broth to create a smooth sauce.
  3. Add the efo sauce to the dodo and cook for another 10 minutes.
  4. Add African pepper, salt, and sugar, stir well, and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, accompanied by your favorite side dish.
