Cranberry Sauce
A delicious cranberry sauce, sweet and juicy, perfect to accompany venison or pork roast.

Ingredients
- 300 g of cranberries
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 ml of water
- 1 lemon, zested
- 10 g of caster sugar
- 1 mint leaf
- 1 tablespoon of honey
Method
- Rinse the cranberries thoroughly and drain them.
- In a pot, combine the water, sugar, and zested lemon. Bring to a boil.
- Add the cranberries and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Place a glass bowl over the mixture and let it cool down.
- Once cooled, add the caster sugar and mint leaf. Mix well.
- Before serving, add the honey and gently stir.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
The story
Cranberry sauce originated in North America and has spread to Canada and the United States, where it is traditionally prepared for Christmas and New Year celebrations.
