Ingredients

  • 500 g of salted pork
  • 1 kg of kale
  • 2 onions
  • 2 zucchini
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of chili flakes
  • 1 liter of water
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Method

  1. In a large pot, add water, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Place the salted pork in the pot and let it boil for 2 hours.
  2. Wash the kale, cut it into pieces. Add the kale to the pot with the pork, stir and let it cook for another 30 minutes.
  3. Slice the onions, zucchini, carrots, and garlic thinly. In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the vegetables for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the vegetables to the pot with the pork and kale, stir well and let it cook for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve hot, accompanied by boiled or crispy potatoes.
