Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 150 ml of oil for frying
- 100 g of sugar
- 1 lemon
- 1 egg
- 100 ml of milk
- 100 g of powdered sugar
- 100 g of almonds
- Pinch of cinnamon
Method
- Cut the bread into thick slices about 1 cm thick.
- In a bowl, mix the egg, milk, and a tablespoon of sugar.
- Dip the bread slices in the batter for about 1 minute, ensuring they are well soaked.
- Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar, crushed almonds, and a pinch of cinnamon.
- Let cool before serving.
