Chuletas Empanadas

A Cuban classic, chuletas empanadas are crispy and flavorful, perfect for a family dinner.

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 1 onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 200 g of prosciutto
- 100 g of grated cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of ginger
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- All-purpose flour for frying
Method
- Chop the garlic and onion and sauté them in a pan with olive oil.
- Add the ginger, pepper, and salt, stir and let cook for a few minutes.
- Cut the pork chops into small pieces and add them to the pan, cook until they are done.
- Prepare the filling by mixing the prosciutto, cheese, sautéed garlic, and egg.
- Wrap the filling in the pork chops, sealing well.
- Fry the empanaded pork chops in a pan with a little oil until they are crispy.
- Serve hot with a sauce of your choice.
