Ingredients

  • 2 kg of beef
  • 1 kg of chicken
  • 500 g of onions
  • 500 g of potatoes
  • 300 g of celery
  • 300 g of red onion
  • 2 liters of beef broth
  • 1 liter of red wine
  • 200 g of zucchini
  • 200 g of bell peppers
  • 200 g of carrots
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. Cut the meat into pieces about 2x2 cm. Boil in water with salt and pepper for 10 minutes, then drain.
  2. In a large pot, sauté the onions, garlic, and red onion in a bit of oil.
  3. Add the meat and chicken, sauté for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the beef broth, red wine, potatoes, celery, carrots, zucchini, and bell peppers. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours.
  5. Mash it slightly with a fork and continue cooking for another 30 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot in a deep bowl.
