Ingredients
- 400 g of chicken pieces
- 100 g of butter
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon of cardamom powder
- 1 tablespoon of red chili powder
- 1 liter of chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons of water
Method
- In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic and cook for 5 minutes, until the onions become translucent.
- Add the cayenne pepper, black pepper, salt, ginger, cardamom powder, and red chili powder. Stir well.
- Add the chicken broth and water, bringing to a boil.
- Add the chicken pieces, reduce the heat, and cook on low for 30 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Serve hot with basmati rice or bread.
