Ingredients

  • 250 g of flour
  • 150 ml of warm water
  • 10 g of dry yeast
  • 20 g of butter
  • 100 g of honey
  • 50 ml of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 egg for the oil brushing

Method

  1. Mix the flour, dry yeast, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Add the warm water and mix until the flour is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the butter, honey, and olive oil and mix until you get a homogeneous dough.
  4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Take the dough, form it into rolls, and place it on a baking tray.
  6. Wash your hands with cold water, dry them well, and make marks on the bread with your wet fingers.
  7. Brush the entire surface of the bread with beaten egg.
  8. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20-25 minutes or until it turns golden.
