Ingredients
- 400g of beef
- 200g of veal
- 200g of pork
- 100g of pork fat
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 tablespoon of chili powder
- 1 tablespoon of garlic salt
- 2 tablespoons of dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon of thyme
- 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon of salt
Method
- Mix the meat, fat, salt, black pepper, chili powder, oregano, thyme, and parsley.
- Form the boerewors into long and thin sausages, ensuring the mixture is well distributed.
- Refrigerate the sausages for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the braai to high heat and grill for 15-20 minutes, turning frequently for even cooking.
- Serve them hot with your favorite sauce.
