Ingredients

  • 1 kg of mountain lamb
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 100 g of raw bacon
  • 100 g of grana cheese
  • 100 g of bread
  • 100 g of butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped thyme

Method

  1. Cut the mountain lamb into equal-sized pieces.
  2. In a pan, sauté the onions and garlic in a bowl with butter.
  3. Add the mountain lamb and cook until it is well done.
  4. In another bowl, mix the raw bacon, grana cheese, bread crumbs, eggs, parsley, and thyme.
  5. Place the cooked meat in a casserole and add the vegetable sauce prepared with the sautéed vegetables.
  6. Cover the meat with the prepared sauce and bake in the oven at 180°C for 30-40 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with sweet potatoes or a salad of vegetables.
