Ingredients

  • 4 beef fillets
  • 100 g of raw ham
  • 50 g of cooked ham
  • 50 g of grated cheese
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tablespoon of parsley
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 bay leaves
  • 200 ml of beef broth

Method

  1. Prepare the beef fillets by trimming the ends to make rolling easier.
  2. In a bowl, mix the raw ham, cooked ham, cheese, onion, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay out a beef fillet and stuff it with the mixture, rolling it up tightly.
  4. Repeat the process with the other fillets.
  5. In a pan, heat the olive oil and cook the roulades for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  6. In a pot, combine the beef broth and bay leaves and simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Add the roulades to the broth and simmer for 15-20 minutes over medium heat.
  8. Serve hot with a broth sauce.
