Basler Mürbeteig
Basler Mürbeteig is a traditional Swiss sweet pastry made with a complex blend of ingredients.

Ingredients
- 300 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 100 g of butter
- 100 g of honey
- 100 g of crushed almonds
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of warm water
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Method
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, moisten the baking powder with warm water and let it rise for 5 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, butter, and honey together.
- Gradually mix the egg mixture into the flour mixture, incorporating the risen baking powder and crushed almonds.
- Form a ball of dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into small balls and form pastries.
- Make a hole in the center of each pastry and fill it with the desired filling.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the pastries for 15-20 minutes, until golden.
