Ingredients

  • 300 g of flour
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of honey
  • 100 g of crushed almonds
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon of warm water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Method

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  2. In another bowl, moisten the baking powder with warm water and let it rise for 5 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, butter, and honey together.
  4. Gradually mix the egg mixture into the flour mixture, incorporating the risen baking powder and crushed almonds.
  5. Form a ball of dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Divide the dough into small balls and form pastries.
  7. Make a hole in the center of each pastry and fill it with the desired filling.
  8. Preheat the oven to 180°C and bake the pastries for 15-20 minutes, until golden.
