  • 4 slices of bread
  • 100g of bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce (optional)
  • Fresh thyme chopped (optional)

Method

  1. Cook the bacon in a pan with butter until it is golden and crispy.
  2. In another pan, boil the eggs in salted water for 8-10 minutes, then cool them under cold water.
  3. Halve the eggs and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. In a baking dish, place the bread slices, then add the crispy bacon, halved eggs, and soy sauce (if using) and chopped thyme (if using).
  5. Cover with the other slice of bread and grill or bake in the oven at 180°C for 5-7 minutes until the bread is golden and the bacon is further cooked.
