Ingredients

  • 200g smoked bacon
  • 8 eggs
  • 200g flour
  • 100g butter
  • 1 onion
  • 200g grated cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 egg for cooking

Method

  1. Cut the smoked bacon into pieces and cook in a pan with butter until crispy and the sauce has thickened.
  2. Meanwhile, mix the flour with a little water to form a dough.
  3. In a baking dish, place the cooked bacon and add the beaten eggs, chopped onion, grated cheese, and salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Cover with the flour dough and make a hole in the center for heat to escape.
  5. Brush the surface with a beaten egg and bake in the oven at 180°C for about 30-40 minutes, until the dough is golden.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
