Ingredients

  • 200g of smoked cod
  • 100g of sweet potatoes
  • 50g of onion
  • 1 egg
  • 100g of flour
  • 100g of stale bread
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying

Method

  1. Cut the smoked cod into small pieces and blend it until you get a smooth paste.
  2. Chop the onion and cook it in a pan with a little oil.
  3. Beat the egg and add the cod paste, cubed sweet potatoes, cooked onion, flour, and stale bread.
  4. Mix the preparation well and add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Form small balls with the preparation and fry them in hot oil until golden.
  6. Bake the balls in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes for a better crunch.
