A traditional Lisbon dish, Bacalhau Bolinhos are crispy and delicious, perfect as an appetizer.

Ingredients
- 200g of smoked cod
- 100g of sweet potatoes
- 50g of onion
- 1 egg
- 100g of flour
- 100g of stale bread
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Method
- Cut the smoked cod into small pieces and blend it until you get a smooth paste.
- Chop the onion and cook it in a pan with a little oil.
- Beat the egg and add the cod paste, cubed sweet potatoes, cooked onion, flour, and stale bread.
- Mix the preparation well and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Form small balls with the preparation and fry them in hot oil until golden.
- Bake the balls in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes for a better crunch.
