Ingredients

  • 4 chickens
  • 200 ml palm oil
  • 100 g onion
  • 50 g chili
  • 50 g ginger
  • 50 g red onion
  • 200 ml water
  • 100 g lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • 100 g mint
  • 100 g basil

Method

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting the chickens into pieces and setting them aside.
  2. In a pot, mix the palm oil, water, salt, and pepper.
  3. Chop the garlic, chili, ginger, and red onion and add them to the oil mixture.
  4. Bring to a boil and let it infuse for 10 minutes.
  5. Add the chicken, cover, and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.
  6. In another bowl, mix the lemon juice, basil, and mint.
  7. Pour the lemon mixture over the chicken and serve.
