  • 4 fish fillets (e.g., salmon or tuna)
  • 2 red onions, finely chopped
  • 1 super hot chili, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chili, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon mangosteen vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Mint and basil leaves for garnish

Method

  1. Prepare the fish fillets, washing and trimming them, and making cuts on the sides to facilitate cooking.
  2. In a bowl, mix the mangosteen vinegar, soy sauce, coconut oil, sugar, salt, and pepper, then add the lemon juice.
  3. Add the chopped red onions and chilies, mixing well.
  4. Dip the fish fillets in the sauce for about 10 minutes, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, and grill the fish fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side, checking for doneness.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with mint and basil leaves.
