- 4 fish fillets (e.g., salmon or tuna)
- 2 red onions, finely chopped
- 1 super hot chili, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh chili, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon mangosteen vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Mint and basil leaves for garnish
Method
- Prepare the fish fillets, washing and trimming them, and making cuts on the sides to facilitate cooking.
- In a bowl, mix the mangosteen vinegar, soy sauce, coconut oil, sugar, salt, and pepper, then add the lemon juice.
- Add the chopped red onions and chilies, mixing well.
- Dip the fish fillets in the sauce for about 10 minutes, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, and grill the fish fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side, checking for doneness.
- Serve immediately, garnished with mint and basil leaves.
