Ingredients

  • 200g of cooking rice
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 100g of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
  • 100g of crushed almonds
  • 100g of cocoa powder
  • 100g of cream
  • Granulated sugar for decoration

Method

  1. Rinse the rice and cook it in salted water for 10-12 minutes until it is soft.
  2. In a pot, bring the milk to a boil and add the rice, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg. Stir well.
  3. Cover and cook over medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is fully soaked in milk.
  4. Add the cream and stir well. Continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes until the preparation is thick and creamy.
  5. Add the crushed almonds and cocoa powder, stirring well.
  6. Let the preparation cool down and serve either cold or warm, decorated with granulated sugar.
