  • 200 grams of white cabbage
  • 100 grams of beef
  • 200 grams of witlof
  • 200 ml of beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 basil leaves
  • 2 rosemary leaves

Method

  1. Slice the white cabbage thinly and sauté it in a pan with olive oil until it becomes golden brown.
  2. Add the garlic and cook for a minute, then add the beef and cook until it browns.
  3. In a casserole, mix the beef broth, cooked white cabbage, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add the witlof, cover, and cook on medium-low heat for 20-25 minutes or until the beef is fully cooked.
  5. Finally, add the basil and rosemary leaves, stir well, and serve hot.
