Stuffed Grape Leaves
A traditional Turkish dish, crunchy and sweet, filled with spinach and beef.

Ingredients
- 400g spinach
- 200g ground beef
- 800g grape leaves
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 100g zucchini
- 100g carrots
Method
- Wash the spinach, cook in salted water and drain.
- In a pan, sauté the garlic and extra virgin olive oil, add the ground beef and cook until well done.
- Remove the meat from the pan, let it cool, and mix with the grape leaves, spinach, garlic, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper to taste.
- In a bowl, cut the zucchini and carrots into small pieces.
- Fill the grape leaves with the spinach and meat mixture, add pieces of zucchini and carrot.
- In a pot, arrange the grape leaves in a row, cover with a leaf on top, add water to cover.
- Cook on medium heat for 30-40 minutes, check the water and add if needed.
- Serve hot, with a tomato sauce or Greek yogurt.
