A delicious shrimp dish marinated in lemon and ginger, typical of Jeju-do region.

Ingredients
- 12 fresh shrimp
- 2 lemons
- 2 tablespoons of grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons of water
Method
- Clean the shrimp thoroughly and cut them in half.
- In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, olive oil, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Add the cut shrimp and water, mix well.
- Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a pan, sauté the chopped red onion in a little olive oil.
- Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they are brightly red.
- Serve immediately, hot, as an appetizer.

Palsaik is a culinary tradition from Jeju-do that dates back to ancient agricultural practices, where fishermen and farmers prepared their food using local ingredients.
