Ingredients

  • 12 fresh shrimp
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 tablespoons of grated ginger
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of water

Method

  1. Clean the shrimp thoroughly and cut them in half.
  2. In a bowl, mix the lemon juice, olive oil, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the cut shrimp and water, mix well.
  4. Cover the bowl and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. In a pan, sauté the chopped red onion in a little olive oil.
  6. Add the marinated shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes, until they are brightly red.
  7. Serve immediately, hot, as an appetizer.
