Ingredients

  • 600 g of clams
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 200 ml of milk cream
  • 1 l of fish broth
  • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley

Method

  1. Rinse and slice the clams, removing the beards.
  2. Sauté the garlic in olive oil in a pan and add the onion.
  3. Add the cubed potatoes and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. In a pot, mix the fish broth with the milk cream, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add the clams and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve the chowder in bowls and garnish with parsley.
  8. Enjoy!
