Mashed Turnips
A delicious turnip preparation that perfectly complements an winter meal.

Ingredients
- 400 g of turnips
- 2 onions
- 300 ml of milk
- 300 ml of pumpkin cream
- 50 g of butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
Method
- Clean the turnips thoroughly and cut them into cubes.
- Boil the turnips in salted water for about 20-25 minutes, until they are soft.
- Drain the turnips and let them cool.
- In a pot, mix the butter with the milk and pumpkin cream, bringing to a boil.
- Add the chopped turnips and salt and pepper, stirring well.
- Simmer on low heat until the turnips are fully soft and the sauce is thick.
- Finally, add the chopped parsley and sugar, stirring well.
- Serve hot.
