Ingredients

  • 500g of lamb, cut into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons of wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 onions, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 200g of potatoes, sliced
  • 100g of onions, sliced

Method

  1. Marinate the lamb with wine vinegar, olive oil, onions, and garlic for at least 2 hours.
  2. In a pan, sauté the sliced potatoes and onions for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Prepare the kebab sticks by alternating slices of meat with the vegetables.
  4. Grill the kebab sticks on a moderate fire for 15-20 minutes, turning frequently to ensure even cooking.
  5. Serve the Kuzu Kebap hot, accompanied by a sweet and refreshing yogurt.

Originating from the coastal regions of Istria, the Kuzu Kebap has a long-standing tradition of marinating meat with spices and vinegar.
