  • 1 tablespoon of rum for the sugar syrup

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
  2. Add the eggs, butter, and rum, mixing well until you get a homogeneous dough.
  3. Fry the dough in small slices with a little oil, then let it cool down.
  4. Stack the almond cakes in order of size, decorating with nut pieces.
  5. In a bowl, mix the sugar with water and rum, bringing to a boil to make the sugar syrup.
  6. Decorate the tower with the sugar syrup and serve.
