Ingredients
- 100 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 50 g of butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of rum
- 100 g of nuts, chopped
- 1 tablespoon of oil for frying
- Granulated sugar for decorating
- 1 tablespoon of water for the sugar syrup
- 1 tablespoon of rum for the sugar syrup
Method
- In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, and baking powder.
- Add the eggs, butter, and rum, mixing well until you get a homogeneous dough.
- Fry the dough in small slices with a little oil, then let it cool down.
- Stack the almond cakes in order of size, decorating with nut pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the sugar with water and rum, bringing to a boil to make the sugar syrup.
- Decorate the tower with the sugar syrup and serve.
