Kaiserschmarrn
A traditional German sweet dish made of crumbled pancake, honey, and fruit.

Ingredients
- 300g of dried fruit bread
- 3 eggs
- 100g of sugar
- 50g of butter
- 1 ladle of honey
- 100g of diced fruit (e.g., apple, cherries)
- 1 ladle of water
- Baking powder
- Granulated sugar for the topping
Method
- Crumb the dried fruit bread into small pieces and blend it until you get a thin paste.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, butter, and sugar until you get a smooth cream.
- Add the blended bread paste and baking powder, mixing well.
- In a non-stick pan, melt the butter and add the mixture of bread, cooking over medium heat until it becomes golden and crunchy.
- Add the honey and diced fruit, mixing well.
- Stop cooking and let it cool for a couple of minutes, then gently break the pancake with a fork.
- Serve hot with a sprinkle of granulated sugar.
