Ingredients

  • 1 haggis
  • 2 kg potatoes
  • 2 kg turnips
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method

  1. Prepare the haggis according to the producer's instructions.
  2. Cut the potatoes and turnips into cubes.
  3. In a pot, sauté the onions in a tablespoon of olive oil.
  4. Add the potatoes and turnips, stir and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cover the pot and cook on low heat for about 45 minutes or until the potatoes and turnips are cooked.
  6. Serve the haggis in a dish and around it, add the potatoes and turnips.
  7. Squeeze a bit of sugar over the haggis to add a touch of sweetness.
