This traditional sweet from the city of The Hague, known as Haagsche Broodstamp, is a delightful crispy exterior with a soft interior.

Ingredients
- 250 g of flour
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla powder
- 100 g of chocolate chips
- 100 g of chopped almonds
- 50 g of chopped walnuts
Method
- Mix the flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, baking powder, cinnamon, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Gradually add the flour, mixing until you get a homogeneous dough.
- Add the chocolate chips, almonds, and walnuts, mixing well.
- Divide the dough into four equal parts and form small balls.
- Drop the balls onto a baking tray dusted with flour, leaving some space between them.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes, until the balls become firm.
- Allow to cool before serving.
