Gözleme
Gözleme is a traditional Turkish sweet made with thin bread and various fillings, perfect for a family afternoon.

Ingredients
- 300g of thin wheat flour dough
- 2 eggs
- 100g of butter
- 100g of sugar
- 100g of almonds
- 100g of cocoa powder
- Pinches of cinnamon
- Honey (for decoration)
- Water (for the dough)
Method
- In a bowl, mix the wheat flour dough with water to form a flexible dough.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until you get a cream.
- Add the butter to the cream and mix well.
- Roll out the dough into thin layers and place a spoonful of the cream in the center.
- Sprinkle almonds and a pinch of cinnamon on top of the cream.
- Fold the edges and close the gözleme, forming a cone.
- Fry the gözleme in a pan with a little oil until they are golden brown.
- Stack the gözleme on a plate and decorate with a sprinkle of cocoa powder and honey.

Gözleme has ancient roots, with origins dating back to the Ottoman Empire era, where it was prepared as a sweet treat with various flavorful ingredients.
