A traditional Gotland dish, Lentil Bulle are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfect for a warm and nutritious meal.

Ingredients
- 200 g of lentils
- 200 g of flour
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of oil
- Salt to taste
- Water for cooking lentils
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Salt
- Pepper
Method
- Cook the lentils in water and salt for 20-30 minutes until al dente. Drain and let cool.
- While the lentils cool, mix the flour with oil and egg, adding a bit of water to form a homogeneous dough.
- Shape the balls with the dough, placing a tablespoon of lentils in the center of each ball and sealing well.
- Lightly coat the balls with flour and egg, then fry in hot oil until crispy.
- Drain on paper towel to absorb excess oil and serve hot with fried onions in butter and a bit of salt and pepper.
