Ingredients
- 4 catfish fillets
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of frying powder
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/2 cup of lemon juice
- 1/2 cup of cold water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
- Marinated tomatoes for serving
Method
- Clean and slice the catfish fillets into thick pieces.
- In a bowl, mix the flour, frying powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, mix the sour cream, lemon juice, and cold water.
- Dip the catfish pieces in the water and then in the batter, making sure they are well coated.
- Fry the catfish pieces in hot oil until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and serve with marinated tomatoes.
