Ingredients

  • 500 g of flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 ml of milk
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 100 g of butter
  • 100 g of powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 100 g of fruit syrup
  • 100 g of crushed almonds
  • 100 g of chocolate

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, beat the eggs with milk and vanilla, then add the mixed flour.
  3. Add the melted butter and mix well.
  4. Form a ball of dough and roll it on a baking paper, forming a cylinder.
  5. Cook the cylinder on a hot wooden skewer for about 10 minutes, turning frequently.
  6. In a bowl, mix the powdered sugar, water, and fruit syrup, then add the crushed almonds and chocolate.
  7. After cooking, dip the chimney cake in the syrup, let it dry for a few minutes before serving.
