Ingredients

  • 500 g of flour
  • 200 ml of cold water
  • 12 g of fresh yeast
  • 1 tablespoon of salt
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt for seasoning

Method

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, salt, and yeast.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix the cold water and butter until homogeneous.
  3. Combine the water and butter mixture with the flour, mixing until you form a dough.
  4. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  5. Divide the dough into small balls and shape them into brezels.
  6. Fry in plenty of oil until golden brown.
  7. Drain and season with salt.
  8. Serve hot.
