Ingredients
- 3 yams (about 1 kg)
- 2 tablespoons of palm oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon of black pepper

- Water for cooking
Method
- Peel the yams, cut them into pieces, and boil them in salty water for about 20-25 minutes until they are soft.
- Heat a pan with palm oil, add salt, black pepper, bay leaves, cayenne pepper, and sugar.
- Add the yam pieces to the pan, stir well, and cook for another 10-15 minutes until the yam is crispy.
- Serve the boli hot, accompanied by other traditional Nigerian dishes.
