Colombian Pork Chops

Ingredients
- 4 pork chops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 tablespoon oregano
- 1/2 tablespoon parsley
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Method
- Prepare the pork chops by making a slit along the seam to facilitate cooking.
- In a hot pan with olive oil, cook the pork chops for 5-7 minutes on each side until well done.
- In a bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, oregano, parsley, salt, pepper, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Add the beef broth and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let the sauce simmer until slightly reduced.
- In a separate pan, place the cooked pork chops and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side to get them crispy.
- Pour the sauce over the pork chops and serve immediately.
