Lambrusco di Saliceto

A sweet and lively wine, typical of the Abruzzo region, best enjoyed in summer.

Ingredients
- 200 ml of Lambrusco di Saliceto
- 100 g of dried fruit (almonds, walnuts, raisins)
- 50 g of sugar
- 1 lemon
- 100 ml of water
- 200 ml of cold water
- Ice
- 1 lemon slice for garnish
Method
- In a bowl, mix the Lambrusco di Saliceto, sugar, and lemon juice.
- Add the dried fruit and gently stir.
- In a glass, pour half of the cold water and then the Lambrusco cocktail.
- Fill the glass with the rest of the cold water and add ice.
- Sip and garnish with a lemon slice.
- Top the cocktail with another glass of Lambrusco di Saliceto for a visual effect.
The story
Lambrusco di Saliceto has a long history, produced in the Saliceto territory of Abruzzo since at least the 17th century. It is renowned for its quality and was the first Lambrusco to be produced industrially.
