Choripán is a classic Argentine street food, a grilled minced pork sandwich.

Ingredients
- 200 g of minced pork
- 4 toasted bread rolls
- 2 onions
- 2 tablespoons of garlic sauce
- 1 tablespoon of barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Layered ricotta salata
- Layered mozzarella cheese
- Aromatic herbs of choice (oregano, parsley)
Method
- Peel and dice the onions into cubes.
- In a pan, sauté the onions in olive oil and add the minced pork.
- Stir well and cook over medium heat until the meat is well done.
- Cut the bread rolls in half and place a layer of ricotta salata on each half.
- Place the meat on top of the ricotta and add a layer of mozzarella cheese.
- Sprinkle with garlic sauce and barbecue sauce, season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover with the other half of the bread roll and cook over medium heat until the bread is golden.
- Serve hot.
