Ingredients
- 200 ml vodka
- 100 ml heavy cream
- 20 ml bitter coffee
- 1 dash chocolate liqueur
- Ice
- Sugar for garnish
Method
- In a mixing bowl, combine the vodka, heavy cream, and bitter coffee.
- Add a dash of chocolate liqueur.
- In a glass filled with ice, pour the mixture.
- Stir well.
- Garnish with sugar.
- Serve immediately.
The story
The White Russian was born in Chicago in the 1950s when a bartender, by mistake, mixed coffee with vodka and cream instead of milk, creating an unexpected and beloved cocktail.
